Besides providing mechanical housing, AE-MF2 universal mainframe allows operation and control of the different members of the Acqua Electronics Modular Line.
Through a LCD and a keyboard interface each and every plugged module can be selected and controlled. Remote IP control is optionally available.
Upon power on the mainframe detects and recognizes the plugged modules; current configuration is shown in the main menu. For easy user recognizing each slot can be assigned a different color to help the operator identify the module to control.
Color assignment may be done by function, signal/program, physical position or any other user chosen criteria.
Although centrally controlled, each module provides internal non volatile storage for parameters, settings and calibration in order to avoid reprogramming when the module is plugged into another mainframe.
For unattended facilities or users wishing to operate only through the Ethernet interface (Web Browsing and / or SNMP), the AE-MF2B is provided without LCD or keyboard, with the same electrical and hosting capabilities.
Remote operation of the mainframe itself and all of the installed modules is added by plugging any of the IP interface Power Supplies: M-PWRN, M-12VN, M-PGLN or M-12GN.
